Associated Vehicle Assemblers Limited (AVA) is the premier vehicle assembler in East and Central Africa and the focal and premiere assembly point for completely knocked down units in the East African Region.
We are committed to delivering high-tech, quality assembly products that improve the way people and goods move. Our wide portfolio includes truck assembly for Fuso, Scania, Hino, Tata, Beiben & Volvo as well as assembly of popular pick-ups, including Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mahindra & Tata. We have also recently launched the Proton Saga, the first CKD passenger vehicle assembled in Kenya in 20 years.

We produce the majority of all locally assembled vehicles in Kenya
We have an installed production capacity of 30,000 units per annum and have produced over 150,000 vehicles to date.
Endorsement from over 20 different source manufacturers around the world for our quality matched to international standards.
AVA is also the only assembly plant with the capacity to assemble armored vehicles in the East and Central African region.
Soon to be involved in body building for different models such as trucks, buses, as well as offering a range of boats for both commercial & leisure markets.
AVA is IATF 16949:2016 certified, and therefore is accredited in one of the automotive industry’s most widely used international standards for quality management
Training Academy
AVA’s Innovation & Technology department is committed to identifying new technologies around the world and employing them to support our local automotive industry.
To support this expected growth, Simba Corp has invested in a Training Academy to develop the electrical, mechanical, quality, and technical skills of our employees.
Our Training Academy helps us create a team that is abreast with new technologies used in R&D, assembly, and component manufacturing.
