Associated Vehicle Assemblers is Simba Corporation's wholly owned multi-brand vehicle assembly business in Mombasa.
Simba Corporation completed its acquisition of AVA as a wholly owned subsidiary in 2017. The plant assembles a wide range of models, from passenger vehicles and pickups to trucks, buses and prime movers, under the quality systems of leading global manufacturers.
The plant runs to an annual capacity of 30,000 units and has produced more than 150,000 vehicles since it opened. It is certified to IATF 16949:2016, the automotive sector's quality management standard, and operates paint, trim, chassis and armouring lines on a single site with direct access to the Port of Mombasa.
