DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Purpose:
The Digital Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in strengthening Simba Corporation’s digital presence across all motors brands. The role is responsible for developing and executing high-performing content and social media strategies, supporting design and video production, and driving lead nurturing across WhatsApp and Email platforms. You will also create, curate, and schedule engaging content, monitor online interactions, and analyse performance metrics to optimize social media strategies. Your goal is to build a strong online community, increase brand awareness, and drive engagement in line with the company’s objectives.Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation and Management:
- Develop and curate engaging, creative, and high-quality content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
- Create and manage content calendars to ensure consistent content delivery.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to produce multimedia content (videos, graphics, blogs).
- Monitor platform trends and recommend innovative content formats.
- Social Media Strategy:
- Implement social media strategies aligned with the company’s marketing objectives.
- Identify trends, monitor competitors, and adapt strategies to stay current in the social media landscape.
- Suggest and execute new ways to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Community Engagement:
- Monitor, respond to, and moderate user comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Build and nurture an active and engaged social media community.
- Facilitate online conversations and interact with followers to enhance brand loyalty.
- Content Production & Creative Support:
- Use design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or equivalent) and AI design tools to create high-quality social media creatives.
- Edit short-form and long-form videos using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
- Work closely with the Creative Designer to produce assets on time and reduce workflow bottlenecks.
- Capture and edit video/photo content during events, product shoots, test drives, and showroom activities.
- Lead Nurturing & Digital Customer Engagement
- Manage WhatsApp Business for lead nurturing, customer follow-ups, and automated flows.
- Support email marketing using platforms such as Zoho Marketing Automation or Mailchimp.
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure timely follow-up and accurate lead routing.
- Track lead performance and conversion insights for reporting.
- Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other platforms.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts and inform future strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing social media campaigns.
- Paid Social Campaigns:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of paid social media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
- Work with marketing teams to ensure paid campaigns align with broader digital marketing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support the broader Digital & Creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Work with brand and product managers to ensure messaging accuracy.
- Ensure all digital content aligns with brand guidelines and corporate standards.
- Staying Up to Date:
- Stay updated with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies.
- Continuously explore new platforms and features that could benefit the brand’s social media presence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least four (4) years in social media marketing or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated success managing social media for multiple brands simultaneously.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (Meta Business Suite)
- Skilled in using graphic design and video editing tools such as Capcut, Canva, Adobe Suite, or AI tools (Nano Banana, Midjourney, Runway etc)
- Strong copy writing skills and storytelling ability.
- Experience in lead nurturing through WhatsApp and Email marketing tools is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset, data-driven with a strong understanding of digital KPIs, social media data and metrics.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Strong attention to detail with time-management and organisation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and meet deadlines.
